Airport Runway & Tarmac Maintenance Systems Challenge:  Panels on the runway were breaking up; new ones had water damage on the top layer from a new pour; others were older and cracking. Anything over 1/4" in diameter can get sucked into an airplane engine and damage it; this is a multi-billion dollar loss every year from concrete breaking up. Airport restoration and sealing of panels on the runway and tarmac: We cleaned the panels by shotblasting; Then sealed with a penetrant 970-G system that hardens and densifies the concrete; with a warranted 10 year extended life on the panel; and a significant reduction in FOD(Foreign Object Debris). The repair sealant is clear; no change in the coefficient of friction; and is easier to clean the rubber skid marks from landings.
